I’m a wife, mom, & photographer based in Athens, Georgia. My brothers, father, and grandfather worked in the film industry, and the family tree continued 15 years ago when I took up this creative work as well.

I had set out to be a counselor, but found that the trait of empathy compellingly translates in the work of photography. Being highly attuned to the energy and emotion of those around me means I sense significant relationships and moments, as well as making people comfortable enough to be themselves. I photographed my first wedding and knew that people’s joy and connection would be my main focus because of my emotional radar.

My sensitivity to surroundings also means I notice how certain light makes ordinary things extraordinary. I became obsessed with capturing everything in the best possible light, and realized my camera was one way I could help people see beauty in themselves and the world around them.

Trends come and go, and I’ve seen a lot of them, but beauty & relationships stand the test of time for meaningful photography.
